Strange question this...

On the shirts that were worn by Wardy et al in 78/79 (the classic bukta ones) were the numbers on the back blue sewn on a white square, red sewn on a white square or just red?

I was lucky enough to see Wardy's shirt collection a couple of days ago, the shirt he made his debut for Brighton and England in.

The Brighton shirts didnt have club badges on, which I didnt realise.

They didn't in 76-77, but did the following season.
