Yes, yes, it makes no difference to us, but Jesus Christ.

Villa were denied this goal and, potentially, Champions League qualification because the referee blew his whistle before the ball crossed the line, thereby denying VAR the opportunity to review the incident.

They're only in the division because of a refereeing error:

They would have been in the Championship and up to their necks in FFP issues. What goes around...

Away from us, it was tough today.

The Champions League scrap was an utter **** off.

Who do you want to qualify/miss out?

The rule is to let play continue if it 'might' be offside - but not in this sort of situation. Crazy. And blowing his whistle didn't influence any Man Utd players.

And going back to that game at home - the ref had blown his whistle for full-time, yet a penalty was still allowed to be given.......

At least it saved anyone getting injured by playing on. Player safety is paramount.

Want Chelsea to fall into the pits of hell. REALLY want Betis to obliterate them.

That absolute outrage at Old Trafford is embarrassing. It’s bad for football that a team challenging for CL can have their entire season, and the following season, and hundreds of millions of pounds lost by an inept piece of officiating. One wrong whistle blow from Thomas Bramell, one puff of air, and everything they’ve worked for down the drain.

I know the official law is that VAR can’t overturn the decision because the referee blew his whistle, but the stakes are so high - and then Manchester United go down the other end.

If I were a Villa fan I’d be beyond fuming. Best league in the world, refereeing not fit for purpose. Embarrassing.
No fan of Villa, but that’s so so poor
