Too right. A fit Vicente is just unstoppable. Woke up this morning at five a.m. and couldn't get back to sleep. I just can't believe he's wearing an Albion shirt.

Absolutely agree. Which leads to my next question - how much longer will he be in an Albion shirt? Thoughts? I agree with Flairweekly's earlier comment - "if he was capable of playing a full season there's no way in hell he'd be playing for us!"

Incidentally, the black and white video montage they put together of the Hull match and showed before kick off was basically Vicente PORN.

Slow, tracking shots of him standing over the dead ball, HD slow-mo sashaying, drops of rain cascading around him against the madness. It was like that Zidane film that bloke made.

More please, Barber!

This was magnificent. Is it on player? Would love to see again!

At the time this was on, someone was trying to hold a conversation with me, it didn't happen

Just a shame Buckley looks half the player when on the pitch at the same time as Vicente.
But last season they linked up beautifully, with Vicente through the centre, and Buckley coming in from the right. The team just need to be more used to playing with him. Vicente's pass to Bridge on Saturday was wonderful, but how the hell did Bridge know to make the run - if a couple of other players can get used to his ability we should profit.

I agree with all the points on here his skill, vision, passing everything! However there is one thing I saw from him last night that I like more - his PASSION. He was kicking off with Murphy, CKR and those two lumps at the back challenging there time wasting and defending his team mates. he was showing how much he cared. loved it!

Last night I saw the best Albion player since we were in the top flight. Is there anyway Vicente would stay just one more season, I guess not..

Without doubt the most technically gifted player to ever wear The Stripes in my lifetime.
I just hope, in the final analysis he will prove to be as influential as our previous Stripe wearing icons....Wardy, Bobby Z etc whose goals ultimately won us promotions. Can't help thinking if he'd been able to play just 5 or 6 more games so far this season we would have turned some of those draws in to wins.
Last nights performance was something to purr about. I just love that air of expectancy in the Stadium when he gets the ball......would be great to see that till the end of the season, obviously including the play-offs.

Was it Michael Owen that said he was one of the best players he has ever faced?

It is unbelievable that he's playing for Brighton. A player that 5/6 years ago would be held as one Of the top players in Spain. In the pre season game vs Chelsea I thought he looked like the best player on the pitch. I'd be fascinated to watch a game he played vs real or Barcelona in the last few years, just to see how he fit in to one of those contests.

I think if we make an actual, full blooded promotion push but stay in this division he could stay and be part of 'the project' every footballer keeps banging on about these days.
