Dangerous Idiot
Whilst Vicente had his moments how is this anyway comparable? Knocky achieved far more in an Albion shirt than the Spanish sick note.
Prime Vicente with 2025 defenders and tactics?I get the impression a lot of people here aren't reading the question.
Mitoma for Albion > Vicente for Albion by some margin.
Prime Vicente > Prime Mitoma by some margin.
Shame we saw so little of both but what there was , was brilliant.Vicente is still my favourite player to wear an Albion shirt. Him and Frank Worthington.
It's almost an impossible ask to compare a Vicente in his prime versus Mitoma. Different players. Different positions. Different eras.
But, if you were to offer me a shirt with Vicente on it or Mitoma, I'd take the dagger's shirt all the time.
Mac Allister’s non goal against Leicester at the Amex also has to be a top non-goal moment. Robbed by VAR.Prime Vicente when fit was one of the greatest footballers on the planet. Mitoma isn't quiiite at that level I don't think.
Also that run and shot against Derby is the second greatest non-goal Amex moment. (Winner is Dan Harding's demise vs. Buckley obvs)
No. We got Bruno in year later, to help keep him.Wasn't Bruno a large part of it? Or have remembered that wrong?
Prime Vicente with 2025 defenders and tactics?
Maybe a different answer.

Mark Lawrenson , Alexis McAllister would be rivals for that. Mitoma too - he’s actually , unlike the others , played the best football of his career for Brighton.Vicente is the best footballer to ever play for Brighton.
This.Mark Lawrenson , Alexis McAllister would be rivals for that. Mitoma too - he’s actually , unlike the others , played the best football of his career for Brighton.
Would also argue Caicedo is soon or now likely to up there too.
They weren't rubbish, no. But I wasn't saying that was I.Yeah, Salgado, Hierro, Puyol, Reizeger etc were rubbish

Would Pele be 1960s Pele in 2025? No. The only athletics record that's stood since that time is the triple jump.
In their prime, only Lawro is in the discussionMark Lawrenson , Alexis McAllister would be rivals for that. Mitoma too - he’s actually , unlike the others , played the best football of his career for Brighton.

Probably. TBF I didn't see a lot of Vicente as I didn't have Spanish or European football on the TV. We're just lucky to have seen both in the stripes.Vicente is a player from the modern era who was the standout player for a title winning team in Spain. He was the next big thing and could've moved to Madrid but turned it down to stay with his local club. The 22 year-old Vicente that tore up La Liga in 2003/4 would be a menace in today's Premier League or whatever other league he played in.
Mitoma is obviously marvellous but Vicente had additional qualities.
I filled in that Argus fans assessment of the season and felt very dirty answering the question, which player that has left would be your choice to return (or words to that effect). I thought about who would improve us the most, given the players we currently have, if he returned and decided on Cucurella.This.
Vicente whilst with Brighton is not in the 5 for me.
I’ll say it quietly but Cucurella was good for us, there’s a few others that excelled in the championship every bit as much as Vicente….
Agree with @Justice about Knockaert for example.
I did but would always go MacAllister or Lawrenson as IMO, they are irreplaceable for what they broughtI filled in that Argus fans assessment of the season and felt very dirty answering the question, which player that has left would be your choice to return (or words to that effect). Anyway in answer to the question, having seen Prime Vicente and Prime Mitoma my vote goes to Vicente. As an Albion player Mitoma walks it though.
Poll up, but Lawrenson is probably a little past it now!I did but would always go MacAllister or Lawrenson as IMO, they are irreplaceable for what they brought
