Vicente Has Left The Building

Regardless of the injuries, can anyone honestly say it wasn't worth having him here? I was convinced it was a mistake, or a different Vicente, when the signing was announced.

It was a privilege to have him wearing the blue and white stripes. His appearances for the Albion may have been limited, but his skill and vision lit up every game I saw him play.

Wonderful, wonderful player who lit up the Amex on his rare appearances. Yes, there was that run against Derby and the destruction of Pompey but who remembers the evening game against Blackburn? I don't think we even won and yet I could have watched him all night. Hope he has a happy retirement.

I think the Blackburn game sticks out for me as well. He was unplayable that night, somehow we failed to convert any of his build up play into goals.
