To meet my ex girlfriend for a drink

It's been 6 weeks since I last saw her, during which time she has started seeing someone else.

She know's how I feel about her, and that I want us to work things out. But to be honest I have no idea how tonight will pan out.

Enjoy the rest of your afternoon on NSC, and try not to work too hard.

Tell her if you can't have her then nobody's going to have her and that she should watch her back. Should do the trick.

:D

Failing that, act mature until u get into the pub and its beginning to get busy, then throw yourself crying at her feet, beg her not to hurt u again and dont let her go until she promises :drink:

It went better than I'd hoped for, thank you mate.

I knew before I met her that she would probably not agree to start seeing me again, and so I was prepared for that at least.
We talked for about an hour and a half, I was open and honest with her as was she with me.

Her decision on us, had nothing to do with her seeing someone else, there is an age difference of 5 years between us and maybe we are at different stages of our lives.

It does'nt make things any easier but I will keep in touch with her as we both still care about each other.

Cheers.

That must be a bit of a weight off your mind. Now stop worrying and on to the next one, and the next one, and the next one.....

Sorry to hear that mate, seriously.

But as Kenny Rogers once sang: "There's someone for everyone". Try not to get too down about it, you obviously haven't met the right person yet.

Very true and from experience the age difference is nothing.

If you are right for one another then any differences fade well into the background.

Move on and learn (hard at the time but it will all work out) :)

I'm sure that most people on nsc have had their heart broken and I for one can understand what you are going through. My boyfriend treated me like absolute crap before we broke up (he was 4 years older) and now I can look back, have no regrets and am glad that we had a great time together.

As they say in a Cameron Diaz film - "don't look for Mr Right, look for Mr Right now" (or Miss as the case may be).:)

Thanks for all your kind words.

I have a holiday in Australia coming up in less than 3 weeks, so I really am glad to have got most of this of my chest.

Come on England!

And up the Albion! :clap2:

Nice to hear you are taking it in a decent way as well, sometimes those meetings end up getting difficult cause you say the wrong thing, sound slike you did it spot on mate.

Onwards and upwards, Who knows whats round the next corner, I always find I end up meeting someone when I'm least expecting it, just get on with stuff and you'll find that a new woman will find you.
