Very good films that never made it very big.

In Time, with some geezer called Justin Timberlake?

Intriguing future view, regarding 'ownership' / cost of your time on this earth..

Yes a virtual Marxist film - u don't get many of them from Tinseltown

Dead mans shoes, Shane Meadows film

The scene (see YouTube) where Gary Stretch gets out of the 2CV and has 'a word' with Considine up against the fence is one of the most compelling scenes ever committed to film, the sheer understated menace of Considine's performance is something to behold.

Clerks.
Things to do in Denver when you're dead.

Clerks is SUPERB. The sequel is pretty good too.

My nomination would have to go to Sexy Beast. Ray Winston as a former bank robber trying to retire in Spain and go straight, and Ben Kingsley, who plays an utterly MENTALIST gangster trying to drag him back into the game. You would not believe this is the guy who played Gandhi. A performance of sheer and utter menace. He is a complete nightmare.

Heaven - film directed by Diane Keaton which is basically people discussing what their concept of the afterlife is along with various cut in bits of footage and music.

Don't know how popular/big the original version of 'The Haunting' was but that is the scariest film I have ever seen, brilliant psychological horror.
