As a follow up question - for those who recommended a Water Taxi from the airport, did you book it in advance?

We booked a shared water taxi, 6 of us, much cheaper than doing it on your own.

Very expensive....dont order coffee and sit in St Marks Square...

Fist time we went to Venice we were on a island county hopping holiday and arrived having come from Croatia and I got my Croatian Kuna and Euros values a bid mixed and gave the waiter a £50 tip for two coffees Made me sick for the rest of the day
