He has shown some promise playing on these surfaces, plus I think Prior is a very good fielder as well.

It has been a long time since Bell got any runs

If Vaughan doesn't get fit in time I would imagine Prior would be given the nod as a specialist batsman given his form on these surfaces durig the A tour and couple of winters back. Saying that, Collingwood's 61 may put him higher up in the pecking order.
