It must be soon..

He has had the traditional 'hes shit anyway' post :D

'Ist doch halb so schlimm dass er gegangen ist. Der hat doch in seiner Zeit hier mehr Gegentore durch sein miserables stellungsspiel verursacht als alle anderen Abwehrsoieler zusammen. Guckt euch doch nur die letzten drei Spiele an...schon da ist er rumgelaufen wie Falschgeld. Wie man ließt wollte er auch seinen Vertrag nicht verlängern...Born hat alles richtig gemacht.'

'Is it so bad that he's gone. He has yet in his time here more goals conceded by his miserable Positioning causes than any other Abwehrsoieler together. I watch you but only the last three games to ... even when he is running around like counterfeit money. As one reads it did not want to extend his contract ... Born did everything right.'

Because in the whole scheme of global football, that's exactly what we are.

Obviously not to us, and a few clubs fans we share grudges with, but that's about it.
We're not even The Big Dog of the second division.

I don't see why an equally nothing club shouldn't look down their noses at us, esp one that's still in it's top flight after glow.

But ... But Our lovely Stadium !!!

Surely we must be on everyone's lips because of that, and if not because of that, then we must be because of an FA cup final defeat and 4 seasons in the top flight well over 30 years ago !!!

:dunce:

Despite the smoke screen that its not Dunks replacement, I think it might be. We all hoped the Ulloa transfer would be all invested back in the squad, but a lot of it was not. FFP, general losses on money in the year seemed to be where a lot of this money went.

It's not Dunk's replacement.

However....

The signing of the German means that Dunk could be sold before a replacement is brought in.

I don't think it's certain Dunk will stay or will go, but if he goes we'll be buying a 2nd new center back.

Not being smart, but the article says that HE did not want to renew his contract. Just looked at the Paderborn newspaper, and they see that the club was desperate to hold on to him, and that without a doubt he was the top player at the club who had the most influence on the pitch. Paderborn went down last year and so being at the heart of their defence, it is reasonable to assume that he was tried and tested. By the way many/some of you might have heard of Sennelager and Schloss Neuhaus -these are areas very close to Pardeborn synonymous with the British Army's training areas in Germany over many years.

It could be Aaron Hughes replacement. If Dunk goes we need another CB.

Don't want to spoil the party on good news, but 1.4M on a defender who's club has just been relegated and his age is 29 ? Hope the scouts know what there doing.

29 is a perfect age for a central defender. They still have a little youth but have learnt a lot of guile.
