Regardless of us, I've noticed today that Cardiff have snuck right up on the automatic promotion places in the Championship. They seem to have done it at the right time, with most of the attention focused on Reading and Birmingham, and latterly Sheffield United.
Four points adrift of Birmingham with four to play and a game in hand on the teams above them? Don't know how many of their remaining games at home, but no teams are going to fancy going to Ninian Park, particularly as they'll be the last one or two games ever played there. They could easily pinch automatic promotion...if not, I'm sure the league are praying they don't draw Swansea in the playoffs
