Apparently, according to the arsegas, Kanchelskis is still thinking about a three month deal. Surely he is thinking about whether to go back to the money in Saudi or stay here. If the Albion only offer him 3 months he could be clubless by December. He must want to finish off his career somewhere and don't think he actually wants to go back to Saudi. If DK offered him a longer deal and I'm sure it wouldn't take much more money than they have already offered to secure his signature. So come on DK up the offer slighty and we'll have him.

Thoughts?

Thoughts:

a) that's pure conjecture - there could be 101 reasons why he hasn't signed which are nothing to do with the length of contract.

b) Coppell and Knight know what they're doing.

I think we should have him on a 3 month deal because he might be another Kitson!!!!!!

Also, he doesn't seem to be a team player, and has argued with every manager he has worked under. Now excluding Fergie (who's an arse), ski man must have a problem with authority. I would love him at the club, but I have a feeling he will think he is "above" the other players in the team.

A 3 month loan deal would show if he is worth it. After that, we can either let him go or extend the loan. Brighton is renowned for having excellent team spirit, and I would hate for that to disappear.

He's not like Kitson, this boy can actually play! He's had nearly a month training with the first team now, so hopefully his fitness wouldn't be a problem! Give him whatever he wants!

Give him what he wants if we can afford it and its not silly money. He is class in a glass.

Don't think the team spirit will be affected Bird. He can play, has not had injury problems to the extent of Kitson. If that miserable bastard Kitson couldn't upset the team spirit then no one can. I think a little more money and a year long contract, he could be an absolute steal.

Surely if hes been training with us a month already, he woul have already upset the team spirit if he was going to.
I trust coppell 100% so if he says offer him 3 months, then off him three months.
So, will we move Gary Hart up front with Knight when kanchelskis signs?

Hmmm not sure Richie - Leon needs a big striker to play up front with him. Harty makes a good backup striker but I have to say his recent performances on the right wing have been brilliant and he makes a far better midfielder than he does a striker. It would be a shame to drop Harty - but I can't see him playing left wing - so either AK plays on the left or SC might have to tinker with the formation a bit.

The fact that AK will be aware of SC's Man Ure past must be a big factor in any decision AK makes, and this surely played a significant part in him deciding to train with the ALbion in the first place, the old red school tie and all that. From being a regular at the 'Theatre of Dreams' to a regular at 'The Theatre of Converted Athletics' is surely a natural progression for AK.

Your all missing the point quite blatantly, Kanchelskis WANTS a 3 month contract so he's free for the start of the ski season so he can go live in the Alps and sell skis.....its obvious :lolol:

Seriously I reckon offer him an end of season contract!
