When will it be mathematically certain anyway? I'm too lazy to look it up :p anyone confirm what's the earliest point we could be relegated?

Virgo did it in his post match interview on Saturday, which was also printed in today's Argus

Oh did he? I wasn't aware of that. In that case we are buggered. Its depressing to think I may have to program routes to Macclesfield, Accrington, Burton, Dagenham & Morecambe into the SatNav next season

Morecombe is a pleasant seaside resort. Do the trip with a week end away at Blackpool.

Or better still with a week end away in the Lake District, 45 minutes up the Road.

I think out of all of them Dagenham has to be the most depressing. Can anyone put a positive slant on that poo-hole. :nono:

The BNP won the local election? Dagenham Hospital is one of the top 5 dirtiest in London? Ford Motors have just announced 400 redundancies there? the list is endless if you take the time to investigate the joys of the East...

A quick go on the BBC predictor says we could be 12 points from safety, with 4 games left to play, Northampton in 20th with far better goal difference and a game in hand by Easter Monday. It would take very unlikely results though.

At the moment the mathematically highestposition we could finish is 10th (and the laughable assumption is that no team above us will get a single pointand our goal difference will somehow become an asset) . More realistically, the highest we could finish is 14th (.

At present we can only get a maximum of 57 points

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
However there is a wonderful view across the bay towards the Lake District with possibly the best sun-set in Britain (when it isn't raining). To see it you have to make sure to stand on the sea front, looking out to sea with your back very firmly to Morecambe itself.

The town itself is a complete turd. I know, I had to live there for a year once.

On Sky Sports News apart from showing pics of the Falmer site, Dean White has admitted that if we lose the next 2 games then we are as good as down. This week is "massive" he said.

Virgo said we'll win the next three, so that's ok.

Given the choice between a few days in the Lake District and a weekend in Blackpool, I know which one I'd choose.

I did the Lake District last season, tied neatly in with the Carlisle game, and it was a brilliant few days, not even tarnished by another crap Albion performance. Whereas I would rather extract both my own eyeballs with a blunt spoon than spend a weekend in Blackpool, a run down old dump filled with washed-up comedians and obese Yorkshire folk on stag and hen parties.
