This went round a while ago didn't it, before he went to Fulham?
This is imo a plausible big name signing. He's had a few seasons at the top level where he hasn't done much, so dropping down may be a possibility. There's the Chelsea connection. And he fits the bill quite well for what we need - quite similar type of player to Murray in a lot of ways, although obviously was a hundred times better in his prime.

I think he would still be a class above in the Championship in our side. Hope it';s true.
