A TWO HOUR poll is an OUTRAGEOUSLY unfair proposition. The DEMOGRAPHIC of NSC is such, that diffrent people, with different LIFESTYLES, and living in different TIME ZONES visit the site, at different TIMES of day.

If you can't see the STUPIDITY in having a competition between 2 people that, by definition, is designed to produce a WINNER, and then declare it a DRAW, then fair enough.
Extra Time is not 45 minutes each way is it? No, it's a short sharp additional period of play designed to produce a winner.

How is the competition, 'by definition' designed to produce a winner? Its a poll to see how NSC, as a collective, views the comparative merits of the two ladies.
NSC has voted, and decreed that they are equally as lovely as each other. There were three possible results. A draw was the least likely of them, but a valid result nonetheless.
