There was a fair few of them between the ground and the Bridge car park towards the end of last season too.

As a matter of interest are they allowed to sell their crap tat there, or for that matter by the station? Do they need a licence or permission? And, does the land belong to the club, council or Southern/National Rail?

Yes a license is required for a street stall. See the case of the 5 year old girl who was done for setting up a lemonade stall!

If they have a pedlar's license from Police/Council they can sell on public highway I believe. Though if they've selling snide goods trading standards can get them arrested.

There was a bloke outside Brighton station on Sunday selling the half and half scarves and also still trying to get rid of those really crap flags they were trying to sell at the end of last season - the almost transparent 'Premiership' ones.
