Hopefully they are learning that the initial league is only a process, not the end goal. You just need to keep in touch with the leaders for the play-offs which you need to save your best for.
Now they are an established European team, that kind of takes care of itself.
The playoffs are seemingly to help the stronger teams, maintain some competiveness, in the European competitiions.

Good to see Tony still taking an interest in Union's progress. Could there be some potential transfers/loans in the summer
He still officially owns 25%, doesn't he, with Muzio now having the majority stake? I don't know how much of the ownership percentages are a technicality in order to satisfy UEAFA, but either way the two of them are close business partners and USG recruitment success owes a lot to Star Lizard, so I wouldn't be surprised to see more deals between the clubs now that the embargo has been lifted.

And nthere I was thinking 10 games are played at end of season to enable clubs to make more money

Big weekend for Union, Brussels derby this evening and with Genk at home to Club Brugge tomorrow...Union already guaranteed a top 3 finish with European football next season confirmed.

They didn’t top the league in regular season this year though.
the format of the league changes after next season to a normal league, no more relegation half, and play off half.

Starting from the 2026/27 season, the Belgian Pro League will expand to 18 clubs, abandoning the current 16-team format. The league will adopt a classic double round-robin format, where each team plays every other team twice – once at home and once away.

Fairly certain that if Genk fail to win against Club Brugge tomorrow that USG are assured of at least the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League.

Big win. What happened with the Anderlecht disallowed goal? Pen was saved, then I'm guessing rebound was put in, but overturned by VAR?
Moris saved the penalty but the Anderlecht player with the last touch to score after the save had encroached just before the penalty was taken. Took an absolute age to disallow it as I assume they weren't certain the encroaching player had the last touch, although seemed pretty clear to me from the first replay.
