Will the club be rethinking its decision to not include undersoil heating at Falmer in the wake of a second game called off at Withdean due to frost in the last year or so?
I would doubt it. Part of the problem at Withdean is the fact the stadium is in a valley - and can be a few degrees colder. Also, while undersoil heating is capable of thawing pitches, it is not good for them in the long run. There are better, more modern ways of protecting and thawing pitches, which we currently do not have at Withdean.
