It's a worry but the right explanation if any Govt planning permission people ask is that the fans are staying away because they can bear it no longer at the Withdean
I think when we get the new stadium attendances won't be a problem.
Watching football at the Withdean is not very pleasurable and as stated above only true fans can be arsed putting up with the facilities (or lack of them).
When the stadium is built there will also be rise of interest in the club. I think we're basically treading water until then
I must admit I have spent more than enough Saturday afternoons sitting in the pouring rain for 2 and a half hours and getting frozen cold , damp and fed up. It really is asking a lot of people and there are 4000 who will do it, including me but its hardly fun and I do it coz I love the Albion.
Less devoted people will say " sit in the rain and get flu and watch poor football and pay £ 20 for it, are you having a laff ?.
I want Falmer and a roof and I want it now as I don't know how many more times I can sit in the sheeting rain with a bin bag liner over my legs !.
