I don't care if his name is Lionel Messi or Arthur Arbuckle, Ioan players just aren't the answer. So few of them have the club's interest at heart, and when the going gets tough, (as it will), won't put their bodies on the line when necessary.

Sure as hell a better option, for this team right now, than Giroud.
Not to mention with Kayal back on the pitch there must be only so much Baldock and Sidwell can talk about.

Although I do agree with Cowfold and would much prefer the club to buy a striker.

That said if we get down to Vincent Janssen o'clock, again, and Sturridge or for that matter Walcott, stumble into the training facility tripping over a coffee table doing their ankle in the process, I'd be pleased enough.

Vela if signed should be loaned back for the rest of the season. He'd be a very nice Championship player next season and has potential to go higher but not right now.

CH when asked about Dembele yesterday. He didn't deny it but lets face it , he says this about every player linked with the club.

“He’s a very good player and has had a very good season.
“He’s just one of about a hundred names you could mention, but he’s not our player.”
“We will only do something in January if it’s right for us to do.
“We need to make sure that our squad is as strong as possible going into this last stage of the season.
“If there is the right player available and it’s one that we feel can add to what we do here, then there will be interest but only if it’s right."
