Who's that man from Argentina?
Who's that man we all adore?
Leonardo is his name (actually it's Jose and Leonardo is his middle name)
And he scores a goal a game (before this week it was actually a goal roughly every 1.92 games)
And we don't mention Murray any more (we do)
I have stopped saying 'mention', and now say 'miss'. I don't care if I'm the only one in the stadium, it just makes much more sense.

I've always sung,

Who's that man from Argentina,
Who's that man we all adore,
Leonardo is his name and he scores a goal a game
And we won't miss Murray anymore. (C U NEXT TUESDAY)

and

Oscar Garcia he drinks sagria,
He came from Barca to bring us joy,
Please don't take my Oscar away

Can someone tell me the whole song we sing about ulloa which starts 'who's that bloke from Argentina...'

I want to sing out loud when I'm hammered on nye :)

I'll help you out here as everyones giving you the wrong words to show you up infront of your friends.

It's:

Who's that man from Argentina
I wanna do him up the bum
Leonardo is his name, and he scores a goal a game
And I really want to gobble up his.....cake

sing it loud and proud.

So it seems to be:

Who's that man from Argentina?
Who's that man we all adore?
Leonardo is his name and he scores a goal a game,
and we won't/don't mention/miss Murray anymore.

Oscar Garcia, he drinks sangria,
he came from Barca, to bring us joy/make us play,
he's got (more)stubble like/than Barney Rubble,
so (please) don't (you) take my Oscar away.

Simple. No wonder people can't catch the words if there are so many different versions being sung :lolol:

My son sings this version and shouts out the last word in brackets very loudly

I always thought it was:

"And no-one misses Murray anymore"

I think I'll carry on singing this as it makes more sense and it scans better.

Well I allways sing

Who's that man from Argentina
Who's that man we all adore
Leonardo is his name
And he scores a goal a game
And we won't be missing Murray any more.

Oscar Garcia, He drinks Sangria
He came from Barca to village way
He's got some stubble
like Barney Rubble
Please don't take our Oscar away.

Isn't it " He came from Barca to make us play"?

I misheard it as "He came from Barca to make us gay" , thinking it was a pun on how other fans think we are all friends of Dorothy.

Agree about the last line, I think we should put Murray to be now although not sure how easy it would be to change it.

The original man utd tevez song was "forever at united he will score"

I actually like this variant the best, but it's too late for it to catch on I fear.

I don't think "mention" scans well. I prefer "don't miss" because it's the most accurate.

Do we need a minister of songs so a) they are memorable and roll off the tongue b) we sing the same thing c) we don't have threads like this :)
