if he scores it will give him a big confidence boost. If he doesn't, it gives him match time to adjust to our style in a game that, at the end of the day, is not that important. More prepared for Sheff Wed

He should start as quite rightly pointed out game time to get adjusted to our style is the most important thing.

He should play because it's as warm as Torremolinos outside.

He must play because, conceding from set plays has been Arsenal's biggest problem in recent years. That is the main footballing reason he should play.

Also, I believe from his point of view, he would know he cost a fair amount to the club. And has been made to watch from the sidelines at the last two matches where we would certainly have used him. He must be very keen to get on the pitch.

He must play because...... it might be the only good part of the afternoon. Let's be realistic we haven't got a chance today.

On the other hand, it is the FA Cup!!

Lets be realistic, Ulloa has been playing in the 2nd division in Spain, to come up against one of the best playing sides in our top league for his first game in this country is unwise and will raise doubts in his mind that he has made a good move,we are not going to win the cup so lets wait until our next league match which will give him another weeks training with his new team mates

Although I agree it may be unwise to start Ulloa he has played (and scored) against the likes of Real Madrid. Not to mention he's a professional so he should be able to deal with it. You never know it might do his confidence good to hear a full AMEX chanting his name...
