Although Apparantly the migrants contributed 20 billion...This is far from true as most are low paid and get government top ups and not to mention the 10's of millions we send abroad for the migrants off spring.

Massive smoke screen that will come to fruition in time im sure

Source? It could also be viewed as 167,000 jobs that the people already in the UK are either not skilled enough for, or cannot be bothered to do. But I will not contribute further as I live 1000's of miles away and therefore cannot possibly have a view.

Jesus thats one million every three years...Does any one support this?....Could we just shut the door ?
yep

Vote UKIP and get the ball rolling , we're full signs at all ports of entry and as for the shower of shit dossing in Calais well the french need to get their act together on that one rather than saying it's a UK problem

Its very easy to just say 'close the doors', but there are significant issues with that in maintaining economic growth.

For 1, construction prices in this country are rising at an alarming rate, partly attributed to a shortage of skilled labour throughout the construction industry. If we didn't have an influx of migrant labour, our construction industry would be at a standstill.

http://www.cnplus.co.uk/companies/interviews/we-need-migrant-labour-osborne-chief-executive/8675275.article#.VO9NJkJea0Y

Firstly, it's an illusion of growth.

Secondly, the migrant labour will prefer it to coolie-coolie land, stay, and consequently add to the cycle of housing shortage/need for cheap coolies.

Anybody who thinks we can maintain open doors, hasn't been to India, or Africa......there's BILLIONS would come, if they could.
This can't go on much longer.......there will be a huge price to pay in the near future.

If supermarkets paid farmers decent prices for goods, we would not need so many grafters from eastern Europe. If the government could be bothered to fund decent nursing colleges we would not need as many cheaper foreign nurses to treat even more foreign patients. If government paid money to train the benefit scroungers a decent wage to fill the vacant jobs we would not need as many foreign workers. The migrant workers are here for one reason, and that is cheaper labour. In my game, the construction industry, there are plenty of young British trainee guys wanting work but are being overlooked in the name of saving a few quid. The migrants are given free lodgings if they say they are "training" and given grants to buy shiny new tools. Our boys just can't compete!
good points but who looks for the cheapest super markets us the shoppers I buy milk and I think it should cost more than water?

These figures are truly astonishing. there's no way we have the infrastructure to cope. yet the politicians seem totally unconcerned about the effects on the quality of life for everyone here. How much will that figure escalate when they start reproducing ?
Something has to be done NOW to get back some control and if that means leaving the EU then so be it.

Good, this country is in the round better from immigration

Sure thing, my taxi driver this evening who needed me to give him directions to get me home had by his own admission not been in the country long, he seemed a nice fella in the round.

I asked him why he came here and he explained that his 10 year old son had got a brain tumour, and needed treatment.

Sad story, but I did feel better for him in the round knowing that his child was getting "fantastic care", to quote him.

The UK economy is growing faster than the rest of Europe. Perhaps migration is something to do with it?

Got to love the tories, everything is about commerce and capitalism with them.

F@ck the proletariat, let them fight for jobs and pay like rats in a sack, the only thing tories want to keep pay low and profits high is more rats.

RIP Socialism.
