Bastian Schweinsteiger is one of the best 5 players in the world for me, quality midfielder. Not making that list is a shambles but hardly suprising.

Presumably the Bangor City nomination is artistic license?

The lack of Mario Gomez is a bit of a shock, no Phillip Lahm either.

In fact, only Ozil has made the list which is very stern on Neuer and Khedira amongst the others mentioned. Neither Bender made the list either so you have to question the motives of the compiler.

Apparently nominated by just one journo, would appear nearly everyone picked the same set of players so 1 nomination was enough to make the shortlist.

You're serious? :lolol: That is fantastic. But it's even more a slap in the face for Schweinsteiger and the rest of the German National team.
