4 x twickers - AVE IT...last band on my list I want to see :clap2:

Same here - but ticketmaster managed to make a right meal of the priority booking system. Still, the $40 registration on the U2.com website was worth it ultimately.

At £312 for 4 seats it better be a blinding gig!

Presumably Blobby you had multiple registrations for your bookings given the "each membership entitles you to up to 4 tickets on one gig" type rule?

Seen them four times in their hey day - Joshua Tree etc.

Sadly they have rarely reached that awesome high since then.

If I ever picked a favourite album if would probably be The Joshua Tree - took me onto an new horizon.

Members of U2.com had a chance for tickets in a pre sale

London, Cardiff, Manchester and Glasgow tickets go on general sale on Friday 28th and Dublin Friday 4th Feb.

England v NI and v Azerbijan also go on sale on the 28th so it will be a busy day for ticketmaster. They have already issued an appology of not coping on yesterdays pre-sale leaving hundreds unable to get ticktets in the pre-sale. They hope to sort the problem today

Ticketmaster: An Apology to European Fans

Ticketmaster have apologised to U2 fans who found themselves frustrated by technical problems in today's online presale to U2.Com Members.

'Ticketmaster would like to apologise to those U2 Fan Club members who experienced problems in purchasing tickets via the Ticketmaster website today.

'In order to ensure fans were given priority access to tickets, U2's
management instructed Ticketmaster to organise a pre-sale for U2 Fan Club members. Members were given a six-digit code which, for security reasons, was enabled for one-time use only. Tickets went onsale at 10:00am this morning and immediately Ticketmaster experienced an incredibly high level of demand. This resulted in the website, www.ticketmaster.co.uk, offering
a slower than normal service. Unfortunately some customers were timed out of the website and found that when they attempted to continue with their transaction, the six-digit code was no longer valid.

An automatic email link had been set up on the website to help any customers with an invalid code. Ticketmaster has been working to resolve issues concerning access codes and will be contacting all customers affected with further instructions on how to purchase tickets.

'There is still ticket availability at all UK venues and we are confident that all those affected by the problem today will still be able to purchase tickets.

'Once again Ticketmaster would like to apologise to those affected by the problem today. Ticketmaster is committed to offering the best possible service and we can assure customers that once we became aware of the problem, we took every possible step to ensure a quick and efficient
solution. '

300 quid for 4 tickets. ouch. Last time I saw them I paid 35 quid and was about 10 metres from the stage at earls court and the times before I tihnk I paid about 25 quid at wembley to see them.

I would love to go see them again but as I can't make it I'll gladly save my money.

Bozza, how can you say such a thing :-()

Four of us had 2 numbers each so we got Hampden and Twickenham yesterday. On Monday we will get Croke Park tickets and the final one we will get will probably be Rome as well!

Then again its lucky we had more than 1 registration as mine failed but we got a mates to work twice!

Might fit in Brussels, but relying on others to get those tickets.

Nicely fills in the weekends between football seasons and England away games!

If their latest album was a debut album from a new band then that band would sink without trace, it's the name U2 that's pushed it up the charts. Worth going to see them for the old stuff though and would say Joshua Tree and Achtung the best although don't mind a slice of Zooropa for pudding.

HTDAAB - sold well because Apple hammered "vertigo" into everyones house with the I-pod advert - also why I-pods sold so well is the marketing using U2 - so all u2 fans bought both etc..

Very clever and why I bought neither, downloaded it free and bought an I-river!

Unfortunately no - you had to subscribe by Monday evening.

Twickenham tickets were £55 - £85 but you then get stung by Ticketmaster (who are the only official sellers) for a £7.50 per ticket admin fee.
