HOW YOU CAN HELP DEFEAT THE LIB DEMS IN LEWES ...

... Get Ed Bassford elected in the by-election in the Ouse Valley and Ringmer ward.

If people want to help the campaign, the most important thing that needs to be done is getting the campaign leaflet through all the front doors in the ward - all 2,700 of them.

We have worked out a series of 'walks' (of about an hour each) that will achieve this. If individual supporters want to take one on, please come along to a gathering tonight (the evening of Monday 7 August, (between 7.30pm and 9.30pm) at the St Mary's Room, Ringmer Village Hall - which is on the main Lewes Road, next to the pub, in Ringmer.

We'll be leafleting as well ... come along and make the difference.

Anyone driving from Brighton? Anyone interested in a lift if I drive it? (Guess it would be about a 20 minute drive?)

I and several others would get involved but haven't had the time or dosh to sort out transport...
The number 28 bus runs from Brighton to Ringmer Village Hall, via Lewes Road.

Suitable buses this evening are the 6.25pm or 7.25pm buses from Churchill Square.

Buses back to Brighton leave Ringmer at 8.48pm, 9.48pm or 10.48pm.

Thanks - is it better to get off at Broyle Estate or the Post Office? Can you give clear directions to the hall from either stop?
Get off at the Old Post Office (which is practically next door to the Village Hall).
