Since arriving at the club Gus has always finished in a higher league position than the season before. It seems likely we will beat last season's 10th this year, even if we don't make the playoffs. The club is progressing steadily.

Gus is the man.

Was today a one of game playing two wingers or will he go back to his boring predictable defensive formation?

As they played two wingers to start with, we could afford to do it. Even then, they were still running through the centre of midfield at times in the first half. So I'm sure against other teams we'll still see an extra central midfielder and someone like Lopez wide. But if you really think watching Albion is boring since Gus took over, I think you've chosen the wrong sport to follow. Anyway, 3-0. Job done. Right in the play-off hunt thanks to Gus's tactics throughout the season - not just one game. So give it a rest.

He will get us there.

His Two Wingers And A Big Bloke Up Front today was dictated by circumstance. Nice to see him forced into a corner that is the correct corner. Left to his own devices he'd start with Barnes, have CMS come on after 60 minutes and run around like an annoying bluebottle to little effect and maybe LuaLua would have got the last ten minutes.

What nonsense. He could easily have played Hammond or Crofts in central midfield today, and played Orlandi in an inside left. He didn't - he went for it. Give him credit
