In 4 years Trump has created division and hatred and a tinderbox in the USA and also with the US's foreign relationships with other countries. Another 4 years will see him ignite that tinderbox and chaos will ensue. Trump getting re-elected is a danger to the entire world not just the US.

The content was a rehash of all his lies, and he needed 70 minutes to make sure he covered them all.

seems the situation could get very ugly. both the democrats and republicans have tried to make political capital out of what should be straight forward matter of law and order, will work in Trumps favour, unless the protesters wake upto the damage they are doing.

Not according to the polls.
No evidence yet of any post-convention bounce, and Trump will have been relying on that. He is miles behind still. The 'silent majority' are not on his side. Just a noisy minority.
I know what people will say about reliablity of polling, about last time round, about how unusual and unpredictable these times are, about what Trump might do between now and November. All fair points. But nevertheless, reality is it will take one hell of a shift to get him re-elected.

I'm more worried about the short term. Toxicity levels running high with 'two sides' seeming heading for war in a country where the number of guns in circulation is about the same as the number of people there makes if difficult not to worry about A-Team style shoot outs.
