Trouble last night

Was it that bad? I didn't think so yet all I've had all day is people asking me about all the fighting and trouble that they've heard about on the news etc. Is it because incidents are so few and far between nowadays especially at the Albion that a couple of minor skirmishes and lots of bravado make the headlines or did people see it as major problems? Certainly didn't look like the old days to me.

Meridian and South Today have made it their top story all day. What pisses me off the most is that if it was Southampton v Portsmouth they'd try to gloss over it as minor disturbances not serious disorder as they're making out because they love those two teams. Now that Brighton are the best club in the area there's a witch-hunt against them.

It's been posted on another thread that there were 28 arrests last night and 32 arrests at Pride in August with similar crowd numbers ie. 0.01% of the total attendance.

More than 156000 people have watched football at The Amex this season. 30 odd arrests out of that is minuscule - probably compares very favourably to the numbers arrested every weekend for similar offences.

Hmmm...but kind of think the arrests were for very different offences and that would be the point?
