I don't condone violence and I run a mile, but there are too many people at Leeds who will never forgive or forget Cardiff for the turks carrying knives, or for covering Leeds fans in piss (children as well), or for throwing bricks at the kids. And yes I realise that not every Cardiff fan is in on that or condones it but the ones that do ruin it for the others. There are Leeds fans who want payback.

I'm sorry to hear that the angels at Elland Road will never forgive Cardiff for the FA Cup 'riot' that never really happened. You words seem to suggest that the disorder on that day back in January 2002 was all one-way traffic and is some sort of an excuse for what went on outside Elland Road yesterday. Which is a load of old f***ing bollocks.

Leeds have and have always had a large, notorious and active hooligan following. Everybody knows that so there is no point at all in pretending otherwise. Yesterday was just the latest example of many, many outbreaks of serious disorder that Leeds hooligans have been responsible for down the years. End of story really.

We're no angels, and I would never say we are. Nor was it one way traffic. That wasn;t my point, my point was it will be a long time before we forgot the turks carrying knives thing. A long time before our kids who are our future forget that going to Ninian Park means a drenching in urine.

Your fans are the only ones who treat women and kids as fair game. I know people go to scrap at football the sc is a huge part of the Leeds following, but Leeds Service crew dont scrap with women and kids, nor do they drench kids in piss just for shits and giggles. A lot of the time they are as guilty as the next people, but we came to your place this season and your boys pen (Grange end?) and those to the left of the away end in the other stand couldn't stop creaming themselves over singing about Istanbul and Turks carrying knives, that wasn't three years ago that was this season. Kev was one of my best friends and your fans are the only ones who kept on singing about Turkey. That won't ever be forgotten by Leeds. The flowers and wreath Cardiff left yesterday was a kind guesture, but too little to late.

Like I said I don't condone violence at all, I'd run a mile and had I been able to get out of Ninian Park from that cup game I would have, been drenched in someone elses urine then hit by a brick (three stitches in my head for my efforts) I would have been long gone.

Anyway, I hope you had a good day yesterday.

Aye, bbc always tell the truth! I think someone from Leeds Utd has already factually put them correct.

OK, so we won't believe the police spokesman, we'll believe the spokesman for Leeds United instead! Yeah, right.....

I was talking to a policeman inside the ground after the game yesterday and he was listening to what was happening outside on his radio. He told me how glad he was that he was inside the ground with us and not outside the ground as he said your lot were going absolutely beserk. He told me to get comfortable as we were likely to be in for a long wait due to the size of the mob that was running riot. Get comfortable I did, and it sounds like he was right.

It was caught on camera, haven't seen the tape myself but it apparently clearly shows the idiot copper fell from his horse and there was no supporter anywhere near him - according to Leeds Utd who got the tape from West Yorks police. But hey, Leeds are mean and nasty tis easier to blame them than deal with facts.

I am glad you were all locked in, there were 1000+ Leeds fans from Mc Ds to Subway waiting for your lot to come out. It wasn't pretty site adn would have been a hundred times worse had they let you all out (that I think was one of few decisions they got right yesterday), but I've seen worse at leeds.

It would've been interesting to say the least, as our following yesterday was just about the most fearsome collection of individuals I think I've ever seen at a City away game, and that's saying something. But everyone behaved themselves perfectly and we had a good day out under the difficult circumstances.

The police treated us very well - much better than we expected - and that helped the situation no end. They weren't in the least bit hostile or aggressive, and that set the mood for the day.

It was my first visit to Elland Road, and looking at the size of the ground and the size of your support it makes it all the more amazing that the club has managed to get itself in such a dreadful mess.

I hope you get through the current difficulties, and although you haven't been too upbeat about the situation over the last couple of days, I'm confident that you will be alright. Leeds is a massive, massive club with great support. I can't believe a club of your size is going to be allowed to fold, no matter how big the debt gets.

I am glad that depsite the whole coach thing and everything you had a good day out. Nice to hear the police were ok with you lot, they aren't generally the most friendly bunch. Considering you were only allowed to bring 1,300 odd fans you made more noise than clubs who've brought 3000+ this season.

I hope and pray we'll be alright. The next couple of weeks I think will be crunch time. One way or the other I just want the uncertainity gone, will we won't we fold, will we get a takeover, will this, will that.

Wouldn't be surprised, those Wrexham fans are right HOOLIES.

Jog on Safeway, you SLAGBOAT.

Don't know if there's any truth in the rumours at all, but I've heard that there are thugs from the Brighton area who've been known to travel all the way up North Wales looking for the off. They are apparently fans of United or something.

I've heard about them, too. They're right MENTALISTS, even disguising themselves as Albion fans IN the ground before stirring it all up.

The word on the grapevine is that a small but very organised mob of these so-called fans of United came to Cardiff for Albion's play-off final in May. They mingled with the Brighton lads during the game and had a right crack at Bristol in the pubs and at the station afterwards.

The Wurzel mob gave as good as they got that day, so the fans of United went up to the Wrexham v Bristol game this season to have another go at them. I've heard they even tried to take the Bristol end at half time. Strolled around the Racecourse pitch and taunted the Wurzels by all accounts.

They were chanting 'Fans of United will never be defeated,' or something like that.

Sound like a right bunch of nutters to me.

Despite the history of leeds vs cardiff, I do not think that the leeds hoolies covered themselves in anything other than disgrace yesterday.

Given that we have moved into the 21st century I do not think waiting outside for over an hour to attack some coaches is really enlightened behaviour. It makes them look like small minded humourless morons. They amazingly made the cardiff fans look like the victims on the day, which is quite an achievement.

Whilst Starry and LB exchange the odd insult with each other, the truth is that both sides have a scumbag element that the majority of their supporters could do without being saddled with.

I look forward to the day when both teams can play each other without tickets being dispensed at a secret location in deepest west yorks to avoid trouble.

What and miss out on a great day out at a great stadium. Would not miss this game if the Leeds fans all come on here and said they were going to wreck all are busses, trains and cars.

As long as you don't go charging around the city centre in colours or wander down the Elland Road shouting your mouth off you'll be fine.

Look for trouble though and you'll find it, same as anywhere.

Don't be worried about going to the Leeds game. Just take normal precautions such as keeping out of pubs nearby and not wearing colours in the city centre and you will be fine.

I won't be going to Cardiff through choice but if I possibly could I would go to Elland Rd without any fear at all.

The stupid thing is that the coaches which were being attacked only contained the drivers and, in a couple of cases, their families. All of the Cardiff fans were still inside Elland Road. The drivers were brought into the ground by the police a few minutes before the final whistle because the problems outside had already started.

As for the ticket situation, this is now becoming a regular thing for Cardiff fans. This season, our matches at Millwall and Leeds have already been so-called 'bubble trips' and the forthcoming matches at West Ham and Stoke will also follow a similar pattern.

The routine is that our fans (season ticket holders and club members) can only travel to these games on official coaches that are run by either the club or our three official supporters clubs. Alcohol on these coaches is banned and they are not allowed to stop at any pubs on the way to the game, or anywhere near the town or city we are visiting for any reason at all (yesterday's stop limit was 12 miles from Leeds).

Fans buy travel vouchers from the club in advance, which includes the cost of both the trip and a match ticket. These vouchers are handed to the reps on the coaches, and the reps then hand the vouchers over to the police at the designated rendezvous point (usually a service station at least 10 miles from the ground), who exchange them for match tickets after the coach has been searched for alcohol. The coaches are then taken to the ground by the police in convoys.

These measures may sound very Draconian, but in fairness they do eliminate the risk of trouble at games where the potential for such is high like it was yesterday.

The regulations are a pain in the arse, no doubt about that, but our fans have been living with them for several years now and we manage to have a laugh all the same. The supporters clubs are excellent and very organised, and there are plenty of ways around the old 'no alcohol' rule as long as we are careful!

Despite the hassle, I enjoyed yesterday's trip as much as I've enjoyed any other this season.

Have to agree you could go to any club in the country and if you start mouthing off and giving it the large, if you are lucky you will get nicked, if not you will get a good kicking.

Behave yourself and you will be fine.
