My preferred tropical fish shop is Maidenhead Aquatics at Hickstead. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable

Second that.

Going North, turn off the A23 at Ricebridge then follow the signs to rejoin the A23 to London and on the left of that road (which joins the A23 after about mile) is the Maidenhead Aquatics. Massive selection of everything you could need. Everyone I know who has fish goes there (unless they are looking for the battered variety)

Questions...what is it that you want doing ?...supply and install tank only ?, supply and install equipment too ?, set up and maintain ?

What set up will it be...coldwater, tropical or marine ? How big is "seriously big"...my idea of seriously big is 10' x 4' x 4'. My wife's idea of seriously big is a goldfish bowl.

Give us a few details and i'll point you in the right directions...i have been keeping tropical fish, marine reef aquaria and koi carp for over 30 years and have a lot of contacts.

If you were going to use anyone local, pop down to see Gary at Paraquatics in Portland road.

Aquatic Design Centre in Great Portland St, London. Check their website out - they specialise in large tanks for bars, film sets etc, and will do the maintenance for you.

I use Fishey Business in Boundary Rd and Maidenhead Aquatics at Hickstead. Both good in my view.
Also Paraquatics in Portland Road but it's a small shop and seems limited but they maybe OK for a custom job.

Will be meeting the bar owner tomorrow to talk about a few things so will get an idea then of size etc. Its for the RDF bar in Preston street who are opening up a new section with lots of pretty boys serving behind a coctail bar. They already have the bar where the girls dance on the bar top.

Many thanks.

Let me know mate and i'll point you in a few directions. There are some good ones mentioned...the Aquatic design centre as mentioned is good and Windsor aquatics ( Welcome to Windsor Aquatics ) are superb "on site" tank builders.

Might be worth pm'ing me as i'll probably forget about this tomorrow

So that the boys can ogle the MINT and then chat up some of the NOT SO MINT in the new bar next door.

In the process staying longer and spending more of their lovely beer tokens.

Another thing Easy I get to watch them rehearse and do their costume changes.

(does best Albert Steptoe impression)
