Apparently Lipton, the tea barron, wanted a footie tourno amoungst the world's (Europes) best. He intended to invite Woolwich Arsenal but the envelope was marked W A FC and found it's way to the mining village.

The villages worked bloody hard to raise the funds to go.

Not sure what the TV film was called but worth looking out for.
