Hey everyone.

I usually walk to the stadium as I lived near Falmer however I have now moved & I'll be travelling into Brighton via bus for the game tomorrow . I have heard so many horror stories over the years of the trains, the park and ride being a disaster at Mill Road etc. What is the 'best' way to get to the stadium nowadays? Considering getting the 25 from the Old Steine. Trying the train or is it worth going to Mill Road and getting the park and ride?

Walking isn't an option for me timewise

Thanks in advance!

Mill Road was a nightmare both before and after the match. The buses from Crawley that are used at weekends were obviously not available, so replaced with coaches. However you can't have standing passengers on a coach, hence a lot fewer on each coach, resulting in massive queues in the pouring rain!
I was at the top Mill Road from near the beginning, 6:15. The queue got vast.

It then took an age before the first buses and coaches appeared, getting the night off to a bad start.

So if there was one thing the club should change at Mill Road, it would be get the first transport lined up for 6.

I find it interesting that the Argus are reporting the trains ran as normal, but everyone who got the train is saying there were no home fans allowed on a service for away supporters an hour before which messed everything up
there was definitely a spell from 545 to just before 630 where from the front of the queue I watched palace fans escorted from one train straight round to the other whilst our queue didn't move
