What was your favourite Transformer? And which one did you most want?

My favourite were the Seacons, I most wanted Megatron.

As a parent, I mostly wanted to see toys that gave better value for money than these stupid objects that mostly "transformed" themselves into broken things that laid around, ignored, under tables.

Yay! I stil have loads of these figures! Optimus Prime, the bad guy,,Galvatron? I even have one that turns into a stereo with little robots that transform into cassettes and slide indside.
One of my fave has to be the Yellow VW Beetle, Beetlebot or something.

Ahhh..was about to type yes then I remembered I was thinking of Telebots..those three robots who had teles in their tummies, a cartoon on itv.

Eggman, the yellow VW Beetle was Bumble Bee. The cassette player was Soundwave I'm sad enough to know all the names of them still.

i had ultra Magnus, the leader who took over from optimus prime when he died in the movie.

swapped it for a sashio walkman ,which i thought was the best swap ever until the headphone connection packed up!

I had Jazz, found it when I was clearing out a load of stuff and chucked it in the bin. Had been lying around in my parents loft for 20 years.

I had quite a collection when I was a kid including the old and new Optimus Prime, Megatron, Hotrod, Metroplex. I had loads more who I can't remember. The original Optimus Prime was my favourite though. I never got Ultra Magnus despite wanting him for years.

I've got the Transformers movie on DVD, it was re-released here in Australia. I've also got an old VHS of an episode "Megatron's Master Plan", and they are re-releasing the comics, so I've collected a few of them up. Yes, I'm a f***ing sad fool, but I can't help but love the Transformers...
