I would say we have more chance getting players on loan from West Ham.

That'll do, pity Freddie Sears went to Palarse, I thought he was excellent.

I do think we have a fair chance of a couple of good players dropping down a division or two towards the twilight of their careers, initially on loan to see how Gus's revolution is first hand before making a commitment. We aren't such a bad destination with Falmer on it's way & our prospects are excellent if Gus is given the full support he deserves. We can attract good players despite what a lot of negative people on this forum say, it just has to be presented to them properly & Gus is the man for the job.

Probably Sunday 3rd or even Monday 4th Jan could possibly be earlier but as Jan 1st is Friday and the first day back at work is Monday 4th I would expect it to start then. Nobody in the office to process transfers or registrations before then.

Jan 1-31st.

I'd like to see three new faces. An experienced centre-half, as has been spoken about so often, must surely be the the priority plus a left sided midfielder and a pacey goalscorer.

Agreed.. Although pacey goalscorer just makes me scared we'll get a "Fleetwood" stylee striker. One who's scared to go within a yard of defenders and doesn't even contemplate jumping to try and, what, HEAD? the ball!

Monkhouse. He's the main one we need. We do need a right back, but we need to cut the squad in my opinion, not expand it. If we can get rid of Hawkins, Virgo, McLeod, Livermore, Davies and Hoyte then we'll be in a much better positing in general, imo. It would be easier to organise us as a team with fewer squad members, and if we get rid of that lot then it'll look much healthier in my opinion. I do think there is a place for Cox, unless we can get the £150,000 some people have suggested we would.

If only I had my way with the squad... I'd get rid of Brezovan aswell. No question. I have no confidence whatsoever in the chap, and that's after 3 years of seeing the chap. Hopefully his deal won't be renewed.

Sergio Torres, don't know how much truth is in it but he is on loan at Lincoln and would tick the right boxes.

Im glad you don't get your way with the squad as you seem to know nothing about football

Although Hoyte hasn't been great for us, I am sure he'll be playing regular premiership football within a few years.
