Someone said it ended up being £3mil from CMS deal - Barry Fry I think. Naylor is reporting the Knockaert fee as considerably less than £2.5 mil - wouldn't surprise me if that from the club directly and it's more like 1.5 with add ons if we go up etc..

Slightly off topic, but as anyone else noticed that Calleri has got two goals in two games from Sao Paolo? He would have been our record signing...

'Undisclosed' seems to be the norm in transfer dealings now. It's becoming far less common that the amount is revealed by the clubs involved.

At least officially. You get leaks at each end framing the deal in whatever way makes them look best. Buying club don't want to appear to have paid too much so they unofficially let it be known the basic fee. The selling club want to make it look like it was too good a deal to turn down, so mention the total they could get with all the add ons and bonuses. It's why palace claim Zaha to Man U was 15m, and Man U claim it was less than 10m. It's why Sunderland claim they got Bridcutt off us for 2.5m, and our end say it was closer to 5m.

It's also why it's difficult to categorically state what our transfer record is - the fee taken as the right one at the time, can become inaccurate as add ons are factored in.

His Achilles injury basically ruined him. He wasn't a bad player before that. Hindered by a system that he should never have been playing in.
It's amazing that some think the CMS who won promotion for Peterborough isn't good enough for League 2, completely discounting his injury.
