as do I listening to the radio during games and not spending a penny!

you recent rantings at McGhee are complete tosh mate, so what if you wanted Adams...I want Sir Alex Ferguson but it was never gonna happen, Adams might never of Applied for our job and rejected DK's approach if he made one!
Yeates is unproven and as most people have already said...SO WAS ZAMORA!.
We all know Zesh is great on his and we all know that theres a long way to go in the season and that more signings will be made and that injuries to Rodgers/Blackwell will go and they will be back......so STOP f***ing MOANING!

/end rant

P.S. I mean it all in a loving non-threatening way so dont threaten to beat me up :)

Searching questions about club decisions will bring success and prosperity to our club not blind loyalty.

So, you are 100% sure that Yeates is no good then?
And surely Zesh has proved that he is good enough, while not playing brilliantly in all his games.

IMHO GG, it is worth giving McGhee a chance and not pining for Adams. It will be interesting to see if Adams turns into the manager you expect him to and if you are still disappointed with McGhee come January.

It is a bit hard for McGhee to be judged on three games and for Yeats to be judged on not even one training session. Remember, almost every player in the world was unheard of when they made their league debut.

Also, Adams has had one good win - so did Hinshelwood, and look what happened there.

FYI I thionk Adams will make a good manager in the future, but would rathert have McGhee as we stand, 12/11/03.

I'm pleased with this, it can't make us any worse in the middle than we have been recently! In fact, I'd be happy with anyone to stop Pethick from playing there!:)

It seems I agree with GG on everything.
I do think Adams will make a great manager. Knows his stuff, talks a good game, I think he will become one of the games best managers. However, I have never been under any illusions that he would come to Brighton. I was slightly suprised that he took a club like Wycombe but I can see why:
a) They are near the bottom. They have plenty of games left to finish mid tabnle comfortably this season. Their win against Swindon proves that they are not in the Notts County/Vhesterfield calibre of teams.
b) They have a nice little modern ground close to London which is automatically appealing to him.
Compare this to the Albion:
We are 4th in the league. I for 1 and Im sure most people in the game will not look upon this season as successful unless we dont go up. If we go up Adams was had the team already in place, if we dont its his fault. I believe with it being his first appointment he wanted to start off and work his way in for a couple of seasons
We dont have a f***ing ground!!!! Again, in his first job he would be foolish ot join a club who might (WILL) get a new ground. McGhee can afford to take that risk as Im sure he knows he has what it takes to get us out of this league.

Signings.
Zesh-V good at Rushden but dropped off afterwards. He can score goals, is in the Junior mould, a very good player in the making. I believe he will come back and its a good re-signing for the club.
New Fat bloke-Lets give him a chance, ala Bobby. If it doesnt work out he can always go back! My only slight reservation with him was that piercy was the captain of the stiffs and he is hardly setting the world alight, however, different players, different times I hope it works out better.

everyone has a right to critise but I think we should give McGhee a good 10 matches before forming an opinion on him at the club.

Gary - Your £ 5 is in the post mate.

Some people who support Albion like to move around in flocks and will not have an opinion for themselves.

Who would that be? I think everyone on this thread has stated clearly their thoughts. I know I have.

Crabtree I dunno why you say Zesh is great, I guess you really do listen to the radio. He was utterly dire in all but his debut.

as I said in one of the other 100 posts about thsi subject, yes he wasgood in his openeing match, yes he was crap in his last few but the whole team was! Cant really judge a player when everyone around him is playing like a pansie, McGhee should be able to bring the best outta him unlike what Booker did.

Sounds like a right loser. If we had Tony Adams in charge as we could have done we would have at least got some decent loans from his contacts at Arsenal etc.s

We turned down Henry - it was either him or Leon and Leon is more proven at this level tahanks to his time at QPR and Huddersfield
Viera - rejected him as too injury prone and the thought of a midfield of him and Oatway in it was too scary
Ljunberg - we are a stylish club - Jonah would never have tolerated that haircut
Ashley Cole - no thanks, we already have a liability at left back

GG. Do send the £5 please, I dont want you to waste it by backing another horse.
Does anyone remember at the end of the old Harry Endfield when he used to say,
'And remember, its not over until the fat bloke sings'
(Que fat bloke singing')
H.E 'Alright fat bloke!
