Never hear of Yeates, will welcome Zesh back as long as he starts playing like he did in his first 2 games...he went crap after that then again so did the rest of the team!

Well Zesh would definitely be an improvement on pethick in the middle. I wonder if having a 'proper' manager now might have a positive effect on his attitude and performance. we could certainly do with the return of Rushden Rehmann.

Never heard of the Spurs kid, but you have got to back McGhee's judgement. it's nice to see him act so quickly.

Mark Yeates - signed in 2002 for Spurs as a trainee....NEVER played a game, not sure where he was before that...maybe the youth?

Heres some stuff...

'Mark Yeates was lively in the opening stages, and to be truthful was involved busily throughout the game. He would be the first to be disappointed on occasions with his final ball, but he did enough to entertain the crowd, who could not fail to admire his talents.'

Yeates is listed on the Spurs site as a striker.

A Republic of Ireland youth international, born in Dublin, he was named among the substitutes at Middlesbrough in the Premiership in May. Scored three goals in as many starts for the Reserves and also made seven sub appearances at that level. Was second top scorer for the Under-19s with nine goals in 29 League and Cup matches.

Sounds like a right loser. If we had Tony Adams in charge as we could have done we would have at least got some decent loans from his contacts at Arsenal etc.s

Reading the reports of Spurs last few reserves fixtures it seems Yeates is lively, creative and energetic and plays a roll similar to Scholes or Rooney.

Only 18 years old though.
