To either end of the line, yes.

Personally, I'd look to grab a lift or cab to LA and then train via the Arun line from there. The rail replacement buses could be utter chaos.
There’s no trains from Littlehampton as I had that plan! It’s a Chichester or Bognor originated service - so Barnham, Ford, Arundel from there

Yeah, sorry, but you can get on a train at least at LA, change at Ford and continue via rail.

I think when I looked it was just under two hours to Victoria doing that, which isn't too bad.

Thameslink services terminating at London Bridge though, which- I am informed by somebody far better qualified than me- rules out a smooth ride to Farringdon and then transfer to the Metropolitan Line for Wembley.

No Brighton- Victoria services running next week (for Chelsea), of course :rolleyes:
