Is that when there's a tube journey involved? That's because train websites give shit timings when it comes to tubes. Also, if you're booking an advance journey (in most cases) the only train you HAVE to get is one where seats are reserved. Which would be London to Birmingham, in this case. . . .

Also Empire, do your train tickets to Witton, same price, closer to the away end. If you want, of course.

They do Football Specials on the day - direct ones to Witton - takes 10 minutes. Plus, even if you do get your tickets to Witton, you can still get off at Aston, if you want..

If you can get 4 of you to travel then I would have thought you can get a group save deal to London for £5 each, then whatever the fare from Euston to Aston or New Street - Seem to recall someone saying this is £7? if this is correct then £12 is very good value!

I will be travelling up from Worthing so if anyone does have any other suggestions then more than welcome! be nice to travel with a load more Albion on train!

Really don't know whether to get these tickets or wait to see if the game is going to be moved or not. The train from London is £26 or £19 (if you go a crap route) at full price so it seems a bit pointless, it's ust that £10 is so cheap it seems rude not to bu them anyway!

are these £10 ones direct from Brighton to Birmingham mate and when would you have to purchase them by?

Multicultural Brum
Only 2 miles from New Street so I shall be walking it.
If you don't know Brum, please don't, unless mob-handed,crossing some less salubrious areas.Trains from New Street to Aston/Witton can be rammed & un-reliable.Far better to walk from New Street, via Pallisades Shopping Centre (escalator opposite ticket collectors),to top of Corporation Street.Get a return day-saver ticket to Aston station,£3.30,service 65 or 67.This runs for the most part on dual-carriageway every 5-8 minutes.Couple of reasonable pubs on the way, although the Square Peg smells a bit(Wetherspoons)

I have NO IDEA where all these cheap offers are coming from

A standard ticket normally costs 50 quid to Birmingham ... Hastings or Polegate

having said that, if anyone can get hold of a group discount and wants to travel in a group from Eastbourne/Polegate let me know....

No need to wait till 18.04 to get a train from Aston to New Street - they are every 10 mins or so, and it's very close to the stadium.
