Highly recommend it - yes, there’s a fee but it’s worth it to again see the level of investment TB has made into the Albion - it’s really a world-class facility and setup! (Also worth going to the 21s if you don’t fancy the full tour and just a peak 👍)

I’ve been previously and it is worth going. An amazing facility and to see how much it has been upgraded since it was first built. Must really help to sign a player if they or the agent get shown round.

So, what do you get for your twenty five pounds? Other than satisfaction that Barber and his team will be quick to email you the next time they want to squeeze a bit more cash out of their customers.

Is it more than a tour of a gym, a canteen and some football pitches? And if so, what are you getting, exactly?

I’m hoping for an Ali Mac World Cup equivalent entrance

You literally go round the whole place.

If you’re hoping to go in to PB’s office, (and use up his staples or reorganise his desk) you’ll be disappointed….

I did peer into the recruitment office, and someone had left NSC on line…

It’s such an incredible operation, both the ladies and men’s teams….
The first team spa area is something else….

So it is indeed a tour of some pitches, a gym and a canteen? Or something else?

The whole place, but of course includes the above.
Changing rooms etc….
Press room….
Pictures on the wall are good and motivational for younger players
The whole positive mentality messaging.

The guide Duncan was excellent.

Not sure what else you’d expect?

The three of us enjoyed it 😃👍

I’d been a bit indifferent to going … but reading the recent comments from yourself and others that have been put me very much in the camp of going. Looking forward to it.

Why are you so negative about this? From what people have said, it seems to be a decent tour and a peek behind the scenes which you do not always get to see. 25 seems a reasonable price to pay.

As I said earlier in the thread, I think it's poor that the club are charging so much for this. My opinion, i'm not forcing anyone to agree.

However...it's getting positive feedback which is great, but nobody has actually said what's good about it. Maybe it is simply that there are lots of people who have never seen football pitches and gyms before, but I suspect that's not the case. It would be nice to know what you're getting that makes it worth shelling out eighty quid on a family of four. Maybe it's simply an entertaining tour guide?!

I’m not sure what you’re after…..

When I do a football tour, i like to have an idea what goes on behind the scenes, that’s what is good about it. The sheer scale of everything is bigger than you would think, even Buzz’s boot room, is bigger than anticipated.

The gym is huge (the size was quoted in a proportion of acre terms - ?0.25)… So it is not just any gym….

The pitch in the dome is a pitch, but it’s not just any pitch, it’s where the first team train. Starry eyed, perhaps, but I’ve done The Amex, Anfield, West Ham, Wembley, Spurs, Ajax and Roma…. And this was up there, mainly because it’s the Albion, but also because of the level of detail provided….

Each to their own, fair enough if you don’t fancy it…..

Regarding what’s “good” about it, sometimes it’s just interesting to see behind the scenes. I guess this is the main motivation for most of the customers. I have toured loads of things in my time, from recording studios to football grounds to concert venues to residential houses I was interested in. None had wow moments as such, few would be of much interest to many, but they were all fascinating to me in different ways.
