Going to Leyton on 1st Feb & was wondering what is the best train route?
B/ton - Victoria - Oxford Circus - Leyton?
B/ton - Farringdon - Liverpool St - Leyton?

Thinking of leaving B/ton at about 4pm & would like to find a decent pub somewhere in London before the game.

Any ideas NSC?

Brighton - London Bridge
London Bridge - Stratford Jubilee Line
Stratford - Leyton Central line

This is the only sensible way, imo. Then you can drink in London Bridge if you wish. Although a warning for the weak bladdered amongst you, it is still quite a long tube ride from there.

Save money, Brighton to East Croydon, Tram form East Croydon to Elmers End, Train from Elmers End to Lewisham, DLR from Lewishan to Stratford and then tube from Stratford to Leyton. Got that ?
