I know nothing about cars.

what are they like?? (I'm not thinking of getting 1!!!)

my flatmates say they are pseudo sports cars for the classless and they are the boyzone of cars...anything to add?

This is the man that picks on the spelling mistakes of others yet, for some bizarre reason, puts an apostrophe into a plural (Celica's sic)

"What Car" July 2003 gave it 4 stars out of 5, if you're talking about a later model Celica (1999-)

FOR: Striking appearance, handling and ride. Well built.
AGAINST: Engines deliver strong rather than startling performance.

RELIABILITY: loves a thrashing, which is OK with service & care. Check bashed wheels, peculiar tyre wear, straight running (hands off).

ALSO CONSIDER: Vauxhall Astra Coupe, Hyundai Coupe.

The earlier models ('94-'99) only get 3 stars due to limited rear cabin space, turbo smoke etc.

Dwayne, ignore your flatmates. A man who judges a car by emotion rather than logic is displaying more than a touch of the
:safeway if you ask me.
