Albion are playing top flight Italian club A.S. Roma in a prestige friendly at The Amex next month.
Roma, sixth in Serie A last season and captained by World Cup winner Francesco Totti, visit on Saturday July 27.
Their trip to the South Coast is the penultimate match of a high-calibre, cosmopolitan pre-season programme arranged by the Seagulls.
The final friendly, at home to Premier League Norwich City, on Tuesday July 30, sees the return of former Albion winger Elliott Bennett before Albion launch their Championship campaign four days later with an away fixture to avoid a clash with the Pride festival.
Roma are not the only attractive European opposition lined up by Albion.
A preparation week in Spain includes matches against La Liga outfit Getafe on Wednesday July 17, plus Second Division Real Madrid B or Atletico Madrid B on July 20.
The Seagulls visit League One Sussex rivals Crawley on Wednesday July 24 after launching pre-season at Whitehawk on July 6.
