Just catching up on all the messages and replies/comments about what some junior bloke posted. So I’ll just leave this here …

Well that’s a tough start for them the in July/August

Play off round isn’t until 21st and 28th August. Long gone are the days English clubs started their European games before the PL started. Games are still early but it’s not going to interrupt their pre-season.

As an Albion supporter of some years, I find that if you finish the season really looking forward to the next one, it's probably been one of the better ones
And also, it means whenever you click on the BBC Albion page for the next few months you get this instead of gloomy scores!

Spurs

Europa League:

So Palace buggered up Forest's Europa League place as well as our Conference place.

That was a real Murray for us. Didn’t watch the game as dosed up with all sorts (legal) and woke up towards the end.

Did we deserve it overall?

Yes.

Poor game in the first half - yet we still dominated possession and had plenty of shots. None of which looked at all threatening. We were still the better side.

Second half was pretty much one-way traffic.

I must admit that I was concerned in that 1st half with our inability to hold up the ball upfront and we didn't do much around their box. The 2nd half with those subs changed the game and we were so dominant. Spuds didn't do much the whole game tbh. Considering the season as a whole we did well, just lacking a few times. We all would have hoped for Europe and if we can keep our star players, next season could be the time to really push for top 5-6.
Note to self - the game is 90 mins not 45.

once again no Welbeck highlights the need for back-up up front, need to go into the transfer market for next season for another number nine as DW wont start every game

Just the four goals with no back-up up front - football and the Albion do have a nasty habit of making you look silly ;)
