Don’t think anything about the match today can spoil the high that our last home game of the season gave me (unless we sustain a serious injury). Still so many ducks that need to be in a row for this match to get us into Europe so no real upset for me today if this turns out to be our usual banana skin performance against a team near the drop down zone. I’m done being angry, euphoric, frustrated and wowed this season.

I know FH will set up and go out to win this like every other match we’ve played this season and it’s not been a too shabby season either for the first PL season of a young, ex-2 Bundesliga manager.

I’m on the beach already so come on lads, only 3 points will drag me off it.

You are a better man than me then, if we turn in a banana skin (i.e think that we just have to turn up to win) performance I know I will be pissed off. Play well and lose, yeah I will be OK with that. Look like we are on the beach ourselves, different story, I’ll be booing from my sofa

Anyway I will be very very surprised if we are not really up for this, the players reactions of joy after we beat Liverpool were up there with mine! In Rutter’s case probably not as euphoric, he does enjoy a celebration doesn’t he, love him.

i’l be overjoyed if we can put pay to Chelsea’s plans and open the door for Brighton.

After the game I’ll be keeping a low one on here but just want to say thanks for the interactions from you all this season, you lot have created a great forum atmosphere and act with class even with the enemy ( in footballing terms) oh yes and there’s a lot of great humour which has genuinely made me laugh heartily all season.

Think I might put some extra feed out this morning for the gulls .

Apparently one point would secure an eighth place , and whatever that may bring us. The permutations of European qualification are way too complicated for me . Let’s wait and see.

Guess the iptv detector vans will be out in force today.
I've been given inside information that they are disguised as Amazon vans. So if you see one in your street TURN OFF THE TV and if they come to your door TURN OFF ALL LIGHTS. From what I understand they don't actually come in, by standing for 0.5 seconds at the gate they can detect an iptv user. They'll have what looks like a mobile phone in their hand and will take a picture of your door. Summons to follow.
