Stephens is an easy target but it’s not just him. Whole midfield needs looking at in my opinion

We just lack the quality. Teams know they can give us as much possession as they want as we are completely toothless in the final third! Need to replace 3 or 4 players to compete. Also need a midfield that can score a goal!!
Another loss where ‘we played well’. Bottom 3 here we come but at least we will be easy in the eye!!

Mooy looks exhausted. Motm for first half, not sure who was is in 2nd as he definitely faded.

Well played lads, ref being very lenient to some Spurs challenges that could have been a second red. Impressive performance

We have been poor in the last third . Need a better number 10 who can break forward and SCORE...rest of the team have been ok.

I’ve lost count the amount of time we’ve been in and around their box , refuse to cross and just lose possession again and again

So let me get this straight:-

- Hardly anybody predicted an Albion win.
- Team announced and everyone predicted defeat.
- Again the Albion play well in defeat.

Yet posters are now upset about losing and hunting around for their scapegoat.

They weren't better than us but some of them were stronger and faster. And we can't keep losing the ball. As for the number 6.....

Definitely this but Stephens and Propper are two main cogs in the engine. For me they aren’t good enough

We were very good and we it not for the ref bottling a second yellow for Winks, would have most likely won.

I’ve wanted to get rid for several seasons now. I just think he’s so negative. I want a Nobby type player in that shirt. He and Propper dictate our play and it’s typically slow, measured and either sideways or backwards which in the PL isn’t good enough. And then there’s the goals and shooting contribution...Nope, time for change. If we stay in PL then we need a far better central midfield IMO

I *WOULDNT agree with the Propper description, I think he is an amazing player on his day and allowed to go forward. You watch him for Netherlands and he has a more attacking role.

Bottom 3 bound after losing narrowly to the current 5th and 6th place teams? Come on, show some perspective.

Disappointing, as should have got something from the game after leading.

The first goal conceded to Harry Kane was very poor and sloppy defending.
