At last we have the first Tory scandal under the leadership of Cocaine Cameron.
George OZZY Osborne has been caught with his nose snorting in the billionaires trough.

One nil to Mandelson.

History should tell the Irish Brigands never to mix it with the Rothchilds.

The wheels are coming off the Tory spin machine at last.

I'm stunned the Tories could ever be accused of being dodgy, taking foreign cash, and sloshing around with Russian billionaires on their yachts..

wake me up when it's 1997.

It's a lot more complicated than that, and the whole soap opera was explained scene per scene in the Evening Standard tonight.

It all started when Osbourne and the Prince of Darkness where having a meal together and were both bitching about colleagues.

Osbourne alluded to it in an interview (or maybe Parliament) and it's all been handbags between the two since.

Mandelson isn't quite the winner yet. He's been telling everyone that he only met the Russian Billionaire after he'd made an important decision in the European Parliament that directly affected his business affairs.

It would appear that probably isn't quite the case.

As for the Tories what I again find quite depressing is the old photos they drag out showing that the old boys network is alive and well right at the heart of party. The fact that Osbourne was a member of a college club specifically for "rich boys" doesn't particularly warm me to him.

Whatever happens Mandelson will no doubt have to resign in a few months as another skeleton comes out the woodwork.

...that was my very thought, Mandy has only just returned from the wilderness and he might have to resign again...however, it doesn't look good for George Osborne if it is proven that he sought a donation from someone who is not eligible to vote in the UK, that is against regulations.

I've seen an advance copy of Dale Winton's autobiography "Shove it up my aisle", and his REVELATIONS about Mandy will destroy him.

Excellent. I'm not eligible to vote in the UK. Does that mean I can force politicians to resign just by sending them a few quid?

I didn't have a problem with any of that until I saw the words 'Evening Standard', makes the Daily Furher look positively left wing.

Personally, I think this could be a win-win. Both Mandy and George 'Useless Bastard' Osborne having to resign.

Personally, I am not sure why any one has to resign because they have had dinner with someone rich, if that was the case I imagine all of Parliament would need to stand down.

In Osbourne case, I imagine feelers had been put out to the Rusky for cash, Osborn was there to show presence, to show how the Conservatives viewed the Russie as an important client. Was it tactically inept I don't know, I imagine shaking hands, is a key part of his job.

Mandleson, I hope was there, with EC officials, guarding his conversation. In both cases I hope the Politicians declared there "meal" in their resepctive Paliaments "declared interest" log.

What's worst for me, is the interwoven connivance between Politicians from the Establishment background. Do they really care, do they really have ideals or principles or are they just playing a game. Mandleson? A socialist? Could he be any further away from that position.

Reported in most other papers as well.

What has really irked me is the following.

"So you comrade you wish to put some money in our party."
"Yes. now I have sorted out the aluminium quotas with the other lot."
"Ah, but being Russian my friend, have you got a British firm you can push the donation through."
"Funnily enough, LDV, the van people, which was nationalised years ago."

So we owned something. Half old it to the Dutch who only made money with DAF after we gave them the blueprints for the AEC and Leyland 680 diesels, and now a Russian owns it.

Never,NEVER,trust the Tories.

The interests they have at heart are really NOT yours, but their own.

Let's,for heavens sake, stop being deferential to these self appointed "leaders".

Mandleson would like to lead you up a dark passage as well!

This all seems like a non-story to me. Politicians from both sides hang out with some rich foreigner, like that has never happened before, and no money changes hands... erm, cause for much excitement that!!
