Really ? Somewhat backs up your previous posts confusing the EU with the Eurozone - i.e. you don't know what you are talking about ! You've clearly been mind washed into believing supermarkets actually provide 100% meat. Horse anyone ?

You’d defend genocide if the Tory’s told you it was good for the UK.

The problem will be that, once this product is allowed into the country, the stringent UK / EU food standard rules - including contents, farm location, country of source etc. - won't apply, as the UK will have jettisoned those.

In short, there's a good chance you won't know what you're buying, unless the supermarkets unilaterally either (a) don't buy the US chlorinated chicken or (b) continue with food labelling.

If they can charge a higher price by labelling “British” “organic” or whatever the signifying word will be for “non-chlorinated”, and people will still buy it, this is what they will do. It becomes a marketing tool. The cheaper chains might forgo this but even the likes of Lidl and Aldi use the “local organically produced” angle.

Indeed, it’s ironic that in a week when thousands of British people have even more ravenously than normal consumed the politics and social issues of the US that many are now turning their noses up at its chicken. I guess it’s possible they got mental issues after eating all that horse meat product which were labelled as beef under the robust EU food standard system.

I have to say, unlike the complainers, I have been to the US and the chicken I ate there was very tasty.......it never struck me that in the US their food had quality issues, the problem was quantity! If only these little minded European types would travel they would understand there is a whole world out there and it tastes good!

Take a look at the rates of food poisoning in the US compared to those in the EU. Most of the difference can be attributed to their appalling food hygiene.

For someone who loves to have a pop at champagne socialists and red tories, you do a pretty good job of not giving a tuppeny f**k about anyone else yourself, especially when they expose the contradictions of your own small-minded agenda. "I went to America once and the food was very tasty!!!shift f1". Christ on a f**king BIKE.

Hmmm .... OK Nibble .... I'd like to see your evidence of that libelous statement. I'm NOT a Tory and if your little simple brain has managed to remember my many posts you'd know I've voted Tory, Labour, Lib Dem, UKIP and Green. How's that promise of moving if the vote went against staying in the EU going ? Still here ? Of course you are ! Liair !

The irony being Lidl and Aldi are German owned supermarkets.

Next time you're in 'your butchers' ask him where his rabbit comes from (on the rare occasions he has it) :lolol:

Yeah, thought so.

So that's your response to a libelous statement ? Or indeed statements YOU made about leaving the country if something happened ? No defence ? Really, utterly pathetic ! And expected. Feel free to back up your statement about me supporting genocide though .... bet you can't.

When it comes down to it Brits are just very good at voting on governments that act against their own interests.

We already have the lowest pensions in Europe and some of the worse protections for workers. I'm afraid we're been groomed for the past 3 decades aided by offshore media Billionnaires whose only interest is their own.

We're entering the final phase now, ordinary folk will pay the price

I know - it's from the South Downs and it's comes with a warning of pellets being in the meat. Maybe you could ask where the exotic meats come from at your local butcher in Withdean ?

Then I'm sure you're aware of the food regulations the rabbits go through :lolol:

But I'm sure he is a man of his word and you have a good record of believing and voting for men of their word.

And I think if I went in a shop I've never been in before and start asking those sort of questions, they make think I'm a little strange ?

I'm reminded of the fella (possibly from the Midlands) who's entire business was based around the Dutch flower markets.

He proudly voted for Brexit.

But back to the topic at hand.

Nobody should be surprised by this, the Government, through the voice of Gove, said quite simply this will not happen.

So of course, at the first available opportunity, it backtracked.

They said the same thing about items like toothpaste.

Wait till we start negotiating on those type of products where 10 years down the line we are importing from countries where there are very little health checks and we eventually find out that the contents of such products contribute to things like Mouth Cancer. The Floodgates have been opened now. So there is no holding back the water.

I don’t recall saying I’d leave the country if we left the EU but if you can show me those posts, I’ll believe you.
Even if I did, which I don’t recall, a man can change his mind, right? But if it gives you some ammunition to call me a “Lair”, go for it, you have precious little else in your tool box.

As for libellous? I think you place for too much gravitas on yourself. I look forward to your solicitors letter. Pah!! :)

So you can't back up your statement, as expected ! So a liar on two counts.

You won't remember it as you said you'd leave the country if we voted leave when you were Nibble. Who, in any sane mind, changes their user name ? You were Nibble weren't you ? Too ashamed of your posts under that username to continue ?

I’ve covered that ground a hundred times and if I’m to do it again, it certainly won’t be with you.

Anyway, back on topic, you’re defending the indefensible. It’s not a strong look. It’s that attitude that has destroyed the U.K.
