Annoying that yet again we failed to yield any points from our bogey club Brighton :(.

You have to sell your women's team and other assets to yourself in order to earn points from your own men's side. Chelski showing the way.

The two draws against Leicester were shocking - we were absolute strolling at 2-0 up at their place, and should have been 3 or 4 up after 15 mins at the Amex. They were a terrible team. Ipswich at home was also incredibly one-sided. Sobering thought that if we'd won those, not only would we be in Europe, we'd be in the Champions League.

Southampton at home though we could have lost - we were poor and they actually played quite well.

The Fatherland
Final table.

To be fair the lowest team we lost to was Everton in 13th. Unbeaten against the bottom 7, with 8 wins 6 draws. Just those four draws against the bottom three that has cost us so much. Interesting that the middle patch of 10th to 13th gave us 5 of our 9 defeats.
“Unbeaten against the bottom 7, with 8 wins 6 draws”

Doesn’t look that bad. Convert just a couple of those to wins and it’s a respectable haul.

That's the odd thing, other than the stupid draws where we threw away leads the losses against 10th - 13th are the games where we have lost because the other was better, arguably.
